The Mech Collection is a group of three models built in early 2003. They are designed to be low-poly, fully animatiable models and were built using traditional polygon-modeling techniques in Maya.
These are based on the Japanese Gundam design, with fully engineered limbs and hands allowing for complete posing and animation. I have always been impressed by the range of plastic Gundam toys that allow for full posing options, and felt the techniques would lend themselves very well to 3D models.
They each took a couple of days to build and render. Each is available on TurboSquid for online purchase.
